Rehearsal:  Saturday, December 2, 2017 | 9 am - 12 pm
Dress/Hair/Makeup done prior arrival:
Hair:  (gelled or hair sprayed down, no loose hair) in a tight low bun.
Makeup: Eye shadow, blush, and red lipstick. Ages 10 and up fake eyelashes.
Dress: Dress: regular class attire.

Demonstration Day: Saturday, December 9, 2017 | 10 am
Students Arrival Time: 9:00 am
Dress/Hair/Makeup done prior arrival: same as  rehearsal

Dress:  regular class attire.
Release Procedure and Time: ALL dancers will be released after the show

No gadgets: no photography, phones, video gadgets are allowed during the show.It is dangerous and distracting to the dancers.

Lobby opening time: The day of the recital patrons will not be able to access the lobby until 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the show.

No late seating: We will hold the house for five minutes once the doors are closed. Audience members cannot get in once the show has begun because the access door is located on the stage, and the dancers will become distracted. Please arrive on time.

Performance duration: 1 hour with no intermission

 

Frequently Asked Questions:

1.    Can I stay and see my child during rehearsal? Unfortunately, no. We need all kids to stay focused.
2.    Does my child need a snack/foodNo snack or food is needed for rehearsal or demonstration day.
3.    Does my child need water? Yes. Please send a water bottle with your child and don’t forget to mark it with your child’s name.
4.    What if my child cries? In any case, if she/he does cry, we will console and comfort your child to let her/him know that this will be fun.
5.    What if my child is shy on stage? It is okay if your child is shy on stage.  This is a new experience for her/him, and some children are star struck, while others are hams.  No matter which response your child has, we will encourage her/him and tell her/him that she/he looks beautiful and has done a good job.
6.    Can I stay in the lobby during rehearsal? No. We need to use all studio space to work with the kids.
8.    Should I give my child sweets on performance day? Absolutely not. Please make sure your child has enough sleep the night before the performance and eats a healthy breakfast.
9.    My child dances only one dance, what will she do all this time? We will have games, movie time, and crafts in the backstage area.
10. Do I need to high five my child?  Yes, give her loads of encouragement.
11. When will I receive my tickets? Your tickets will be at the will call window on the performance day.
12.  Can I return my tickets? No, all sales are final and non-refundable.
13.  We are taking classes on Saturday. Are we going to have our regular class on December 2 or 9? No regular class on December 2 & 9
