City Dance Professional Training and
Internship Program
Eligible Majors:
Marketing, Theatre Arts, Communications, Law, Business, Financial
Planning (Strategies), Public Relations and Journalism
Eligibility:
Internships - Send a resume documenting relevant work experience,
two (2) letters of reference with phone numbers, and a cover letter
articulating your goals and expectations for the internship. Participants
must be age 18 or older.
Requirements:
City Dance Company/Studio seeks interns who have the ability
to handle and prioritize multiple tasks, are computer literate,
have strong organizational and administrative skills. Duties may
include assisting with grant writing, web research, organizing
the video archives, proposal development, media relations, strategic
planning, establishing and maintaining relationships with corporations,
foundations, individual donors and government agencies, and database
maintenance. Student interns will work directly with the Artistic
Director and administrative personnel. Flexible hours make this
internship fit perfectly into any schedule.

on-the-job training in technical production, arts administration,
and dance education - while gaining valuable contacts and in-depth
knowledge of contemporary dance. Interns will be involved in all
