STUDIO RENTALS


Studio Rentals City Dance’s studio space is available for private rental for anything from rehearsal and practice space to birthdays, bar mitzvahs, and wedding parties. For reservations or for more information, please contact us.

CITY DANCE OPTIMUM TECHNICAL CONDITIONS

City Dance Company has performed in numerous different venue types ranging from theater stages to grassy lawns. The Company is open to adapting to almost any performing space regardless of size or environment. Our only request is adequate preparation time in the space to adapt our work to the performance space. The following list describes optimum performing conditions. If your facility varies from the description, please let us know ahead of time so we can make the proper adjustments.

CONCERTS

Stage: 20' wide x 20' deep.
Floor: An unsplintered, wooden floor. Dance floor if possible. We cannot perform on cement, stone or tile surfaces.
Sound: Amplification, equalization, CD and cassette player.
Lighting: Stage lighting.
Crew: Optional depending on the size of the venue.
Time: The space should be accessible 12 hours prior to curtain or the evening before for technical set up and rehearsal.
Backstage: Clean dressing area with costume rack and bathroom.

DANCE ACTIVITIES

Space: 30' wide x 20' deep for master classes or demonstrations
Floor: An unsplintered wooden floor. Dance floor if possible. We cannot perform on cement, stone or tile surfaces.
Sound: Amplification, CD and cassette player, microphone.
Lightning: Stage lighting.
Crew: At least one person familiar with the space or studio.
Time: The space should be accessible 30 minutes- 1 hour prior to class or demonstration.
Backstage: Clean dressing room with bathroom, water fountain.
